Global Cycle Solutions is teaming up with GE to launch its first ever “Light a School” program. General Electric has been closely involved in improving a primary school in Arusha in partnership with the Red Sweater Project and Books for Africa, and we are very excited that they have included GCS in the project as well. We will be contributing Sun King Pro solar lights and cell phone chargers to the school library, and implementing a rental program that will generate enough income to subsidize a school lunch program. This program will benefit over 1000 students who currently go without food throughout the day and have trouble concentrating due to hunger. We will continue to update you on the success of our project!
